Requirements for Education:
One PPS-04 Certified Welder:
- Science-related Matric (at least 2nd Division).
- A welding diploma from a technical institute approved by the Provincial Board of Technical Education, either one or two years.
- training from any government-approved institution, preferably the Pakistan Welding Institute in Islamabad.
- Three years or more of welding experience.
2 PPS-02 Skilled Welder:
- A minimum of a second division in Matric.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the appropriate sector from a respectable organization is required, as well a one-year welding diploma or certificate from a Technical Training Institute approved by the Board of Technical Education.
